Friends, Karen’s surgery yesterday went well and she is now resting and recuperating. The ventilator will likely be removed in the next 24 to 48 hours and they will gradually bring her out of sedation.

As the reality of Karen’s changed life becomes apparent to her, it will be important for her to have lots of support in the next 3 to 5 days with your cards, well wishes, flowers, plants or whatever else comes to mind. LET’S FLOOD HER WITH OUR SUPPORT AND LOVE!

PLEASE NO visitors at this time although we are hoping to post a visitor’s schedule for late next week – this is completely dependent on what Karen and her doctors are comfortable with.
